So it's officially 33 weeks since Tiny was conceived. Seems hard to believe how fast the time as flown by.
This week was a busy one. It was the last week of school so I spent a good deal of time packing and cleaning my classroom. Luckily I got it all done with only one extra day spent at school. My mom came up to help me and it made it all come together much quicker. Hopefully my sub in the fall can unpack everything in case I can't make it in to help set up.
The only thing new this week is the tick bite on my leg now has a rash that has gotten bigger. The Dr. went ahead and prescribed me with an antibiotic to treat the rash/Lyme's. Between Tuesday and Friday the rash has gotten even bigger, so now I'm off to see the Dr's again. Not sure what exactly they can do for me since I'm already taking an antibiotic but the rash really has me getting concerned.
In other news, I had a small baby shower at Pointers Run on Wednesday. My friend Stacey made a reveal cake which was so neat. The inside of the cake was dyed to match the gender of the baby. I'll post a picture on Sunday when I make Tiny's gender Official! This Sunday is my official shower. I'm looking forward to spending it with my closest friends and family who are able to make it. =)
The shower was great and now I can finally say that I'm looking forward to meeting out daughter Taylor Elizabeth Trudden very soon! =)
For the next few days I'm off in Pittsburgh, visiting my grandmother and other relatives before Taylor makes her grand appearance. So I don't have time to post a lot of extra details. For now, check out the photos from both my Gym Shower and My Personal Shower this past weekend, click the link below.

More to come later when I'm back in Maryland!

Gym Shower
Last Saturday was our big end of the year EXPO. As usual I worked tirelessly on Friday night to finish up the slide show for the girls. It was quite the feat this year. Too many technology difficulties to even count. It turned out OK so I'm done with complaining about it. =) LOL. I'm hoping that since I know what I'm up against now, creating Katy's video for Monday will go much better.
After the EXPO we all ventured to the Potthast's for our end of the year party and the girls threw me a shower. I was completely blown away by all the wonderful, thoughtful gifts that they bought for Tiny! It is was so special. Here is a picture of me with all the girls and a few other photos. I'm going to add the rest to our family photo album later. I totally slipped to some of the parents in conversation one night when I was working so some of the gifts give away the gender. =)

8 Weeks to Go!
Here is my belly photo for Week 32!

This week has been a busy one so far. There is a lot going on at school as I try to finish up the year. I had an interview Friday for a Tech position for next year so I'm looking forward to interviewing but am realistic that I'm sure there are many different people interviewing.
Our last piece of furniture for Tiny's room arrived Wednesday. Chris put the glider and ottoman together tonight and they look great in the room. I know I keep saying this but it's very weird to think that in just too short of a time I will be rocking to sleep a little one.

I'm not sure if I have shared this photo yet or not. My mom had a handmade quilt made for us for the room that is Beatrix Potter. Wanted to share a photo of the quilt. We are going to be hanging it on the wall over the crib until Tiny gets bigger.

We also got our curtain rods for the room as well. I can't wait to get them up and add the curtains my mom is making! =)
As far as the pregnancy goes, nothing much new. Tiny's growing and kicking me more and more every day. This morning I thought my belly was on spin cycle. The kind when you have a big comforter in the dryer and it gets off center and rattles. =) I've been having some sciatic pain on my right side off and on. I'm hoping it continues to be off and on and doesn't stay as a constant because it makes it very hard to walk and sit comfortably. Still having trouble sleeping at night but at least I only have 3 more days of school. After that I can nap off and on and not really worry about how many hours at night I sleep. Best practice for after Tiny arrives I guess. =) Bi-weekly appointment went well and I am still a -3 on my pre-pregnancy weight. I'm thinking that by the end I might be a +10. I would be fine and dandy with that. Only one more bi-weekly appointment and then I have to start going weekly! EEK! Tiny will be here before I know it! Birthing classes also start next week! More on that later!

Baby Shower at GES
So today there was an announcement on the intercom about a Related Arts meeting about Articulation. I groaned at the thought of changes to my schedule. I was pleasantly surprised that instead of a meeting it was a surprise shower for Tiny!
There was cake, strawberries, grapes, juice, and bagel twists. Tiny really enjoyed the treats too!
The team was great and got me gifts that reflected each of our areas.
The PE teachers got Tiny an exercise mat! Its going to be ready for gymnastics before we know it. Maybe Tiny will be like its Mommy and hang from the bars at 18 months.
The Media Specialist and Assistant got Tiny some favorite books in both paperback and board. These will be the start to Tiny's library. Just like Daddy!

The other Tech Teacher got us an arrival sign, a fabric Moon book, and how perfect, but onsies that have Google and YouTube on them! Also a red YouTube hat. I have to say that these items have me seriously rethinking what I'm going to put Tiny in to come home! =)

It was such a fun start to the day. The gifts were perfect for Tiny and I'm so thankful that I teach with such great people that were so thoughtful. Each and every gift I know will get lots of use by our family as Tiny grows and we begin our journey as parents. =)

9 Weeks To Go!
Well it's finally 9 weeks left. We are down to single digits. Yahoo! I find myself sitting more during the day, taking longer to do everyday tasks, and being in general discomfort most of the time.
Wednesday I had another appointment for a Sono since we hadn't gotten the results back for Chris' Cystic Fibrosis screening. Everything went well. Tiny is 3 lb 6 oz and on track for weight and length. Highlight of the sono was when I got to see the face and Tiny smiled at me and opened its mouth. The picture below isn't the best but this is the photo of the smile. =) So cute! Tiny also has some hair apparently which could explain some of the heartburn I have been having recently.

After the sono we found out that Chris is Negative which is a relief but it means no more sono's =( unless they are ordered by the regular OB. So I guess I won't be seeing my munchkin again until 9 weeks from now when we meet it! =)
Only 10 more days of school and I'm hoping that I survive. So far so good. In other news I am starting to cross stitch some things for Tiny's room and am enjoying stitching again. So nice to get back to it.
Other than that not much else is new. I'll add a new belly photo next week when I'm 32 weeks. Hard to believe that Tiny will be here soon.

10 Weeks To Go!
Here I am 10 weeks left. I feel huge but am realistic that I probably haven't seen anything yet!

This week has found me increasingly more uncomfortable at night and increasingly more warm during the work day. Been teaching most days in the dark to avoid extra heat in my classroom. =)
Today was my 30 week appointment. Everything went well. Didn't gain any weight in the last 2 weeks. So I'm still at a -7 from my pre-pregnancy weight. Tiny's saving it for the next 10 weeks I guess. I've been feeling more stretching pains in my belly and starting to feel some pressure down in the nether regions. Tiny's exploring around and setting up camp for some big time growing. Right now Tiny is about 2 1/2 - 3 pounds.
Today the correct crib arrived. It was the correct stain and everything. Chris and I put it together tonight. It looks really nice and I'm pleased with it.
