Happy 11 Months!

On July 15th Taylor turned 11 Months Old!  It's so hard to believe that she is that old already!  New this month is imitative play.  She enjoys pretending to talk on the phone and other things she has seen adults do.  She also has begun to repeat with more inflection so it actually sounds like she is talking.  Many times when we say "I Love You"  She will repeat it back with the right inflection but the sounds all jumbled.  It's too cute!

I love Mr. Koala

Hmmmm

This is better!

Ok I'm done!

Storytime at the Library

This summer for some things to do Taylor and I checked out the local libraries storytimes.  Our favorite by far is the storytime at the Glenwood Library on Tuesdays @ 10:30.  We have also been to storytimes in Eldersburg and also in Finksburg.  Here are some pictures from when we attended storytime with my friend Laura and her two girls at the Finksburg library.

Trip to Connecticut for the 4th of July

Well we had our first longer road trip with Taylor to visit Chris' parents in Greenwich CT.  We had to leave late in the day since Chris worked all day so we hit the road around 7 pm.  We made great time and got to CT in about 4.5 hours.  This is where things took a nasty turn.  We got a great deal at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich.  Well they didn't have the room I requested available so we had to take a room with two doubles which also made the room tight with the pack n play as well.  The entrance was on one side of the building directly below our room, however the elevator was on the complete opposite side of the building.  Taylor woke up during the transfer as expected, but since it was close to a 5 minute walk door to door, well you all know where this story is going.  She was up until about 4 am and then up again at 6 for her normal daily routine.  I had a meltdown and Chris had to walk her around the floor in her stroller to get her to sleep and yes we are horrible parents but she slept in her stroller for 2 hours.

After that first night things got better and we had a great rest of the trip visiting with the Trudden Family and hitting up the beach for her first time.  She hated the sand and the water at first but finally warmed up to the water.....but not the SAND.  =)

The trip home went much better and the transition from the car to her crib was seamless.  All in all it was a great trip!

New Toys!  Thank you Grandma and Aunt Kim

Reading my new book about Noses!

Weird and Cute Naps

So when Taylor is tired she will sleep just about anywhere.  Recently when I've gone to get her from her crib she comes back with weird indentations and marks from her sleeping positions.  It's kinda cute!  =)

Napping on the beach in Greenwich CT
Napping in the Jumperoo!  Daddy took a nap too!

Indentations from her blanket

Do you see the tiny foot imprint?

Mommy's Little Helper

Taylor has been more and more of a little helper around the house these days.  She likes to hold things and carry them around when she crawls.  The other morning I had my laundry out and was "attempting" to fold it, well Taylor had other plans.  She also loves the camera case and will do anything, except walk, (Believe me I have tried using it as bait) to get it.

She also now has just enough hair for some bows!  Isn't it just the cutest??

Now I know there is a camera in here!

Uh oh!  It's empty!! =)

Clean Clothes!

So how do you fold this thing?!?
