We're........

CRAWLING!!!

Figured since she started crawling in the 'Burgh that the song choice was more than appropriate!  It's only been about 7 days and I'm already feeling the burn from chasing her around the room.  She's a curious little girl!

Happy Easter!

Today was Taylor's first Easter!  It was pretty calm in our house.  She wore her bunny pj's to bed last night.  This morning she must of sensed the excitement because she didn't want to nap.  Luckily the weather was nice so Chris took her for a walk in the neighborhood.  She conked out on the walk and by the time she woke up it was super hot both in and out of the house.  We ended up doing some time in just the diaper to help cool her down before we put her dress on.  My parents came over to join us for Easter dinner.  Chris made a wonderful dinner with ham, carrots, and potatoes.  Nana brought her some Easter gifts and we got a preview of this coming Xmas.  =)  She loved opening the package!  Then we got her dressed in her Easter Dress and took her out on the patio for some photos!  She LOVED the basket and eggs!

RIBBON!!

Wrapping Paper!  Yum!

Can't make up my mind.  Too many colors to chose from!

Little Gymnast!

We visited the gym last Friday and met all of my gymnasts!  Taylor had a great time!  She loved meeting all the girls! At this point she wasn't crawling yet so she enjoyed sitting and talking with everyone.  Next time we go we will have to break out a leotard and let her run around a bit!  =)

So how do you point your toes?

Girls, this is how you do a push up!

Trip to the 'Burgh

Last weekend we took a trip North of the Mason Dixon line to Pittsburgh, PA to visit the Boyle Clan.  Packing with an infant is not the funnest thing in the world and I was terrified I was leaving something behind that I would need.  Taylor did a great job on the car ride both up and back.  She was a real trooper.  We spent some time with the family on Sunday when we arrived and Taylor got to meet all her great aunts, uncles, and second cousins!  She was a very well behaved little girl too and loved being passed around and being the center of attention.

Meeting GG (Great Granny) for the first time.

100th Post - Happy Eight Months!

Well this is the 100th post on Taylor's blog and it's a great one to celebrate!  She is now 8 months old.  We are loving every minute with her.  She is thriving and growing like a weed!  At last check she was 17 pounds and 2 ounces.  We have our next well check up and all her measurements when she is 9 months old.  Over the weekend she learned how to army crawl and just a few days later is becoming more upright and crawling in a more traditional manner.  Pretty soon she is going to pulling up on things and soon after that walking/running.  She is such a curious little girl so now that she is more mobile she is into EVERYTHING!

So I had everything all ready to take photos this morning and took this quick shot after Taylor was dressed.  Then got her in the rocker for her real shots and the camera ran out of power.  So I'll post the original shots later this weekend when my battery is charged again.  For now I have 4 other posts set to go between now and Easter Monday.

The next month with the nice weather should bring about lots of new and exciting experiences!

Fun at the Park

This afternoon we had a playdate with Miss Ellie and her Mommy Natalie.  Natalie and I were in grad school together and her little Miss is about 10 months older than Taylor.  It was so fun to see them and see how much Ellie has grown.  Pretty soon Taylor will be running around just like her.  =)  We went to a park nearby and played on the swings and went down the slide.  It was lots of fun and Taylor loved the swings! We will definitely have to do it again soon!

Spit Up Be Gone!

We have been very busy lately and this has been just one of many things that have been neglected.  I can try to promise to be better but with the school year reaching its busiest time, who knows if I will be able to keep that promise.  I will try though!

Anyway!  Taylor has always had an issue with spit up since she was a baby.  Some days we would go through multiple clothes, bibs and burb cloths.  Because of this we started solids VERY slowly.  Funny enough once we increased the solids the spit up disappeared!  She has her moments here and there but we no longer have to wear the bib 24/7 just in case which is great!

She has been eating three meals a day for about a week now and is LOVING it!  We like to give her choices of foods for lunch or dinner.  She has about 6 fruits and 7 veggies that are safe to eat.....but we have learned just recently that she DOES NOT like green beans or peas.

For breakfast she has cereal and a fruit.  Peaches with her cereal are her favorite.  For lunch normally we do a fruit combo but apples are still her favorite there.  Dinner is always a veggie or protein.  =)

Here are some photos from a recent dinner and a video of her choosing her meal.  Enjoy!
