New Wheels

One of Taylor's birthday presents was a Little Tikes Car from her Godmommy, Kelly.  Daddy started putting it together shortly after her birthday but had some difficulty so it took a little while for it to be in good working order.  10 days later it was put together and it's been one of her favorites ever since.  She loves to be pushed while riding in it and only recently has learned how to use her own legs to make it go!  This toy was another one that showed Mommy and Daddy just how smart Taylor is.  She learned very quickly how to unlatch the door lock and get out of the car.  This is good when the car is stopped, but not so good when it's moving.  =(

Happy Birthday Taylor!!

So yes I'm behind.  Tonight I'm working hard to get caught up.  So we shall see how far I actually get before I pass out from sleeplessness.  I am going to set any additional posts beyond this one to post in the coming days.  So hopefully there will be about 5.  If I accomplish my goal, that is.

On August 14th, we celebrated Taylor's first birthday with friends and family.  Chris and I did very well with not buying her too many toys, however the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and special friends made up for our lack of gifts.  Taylor loved her cake, presents, and everything else about her birthday!  It was so much fun to watch her with all her gifts.  Makes me really look forward to Christmas!  Here are a few pictures from the day.

On August 15th which was Taylor's real birthday, she and I had a Mommy-Daughter day.  We all had dinner together as a family and more cake.  =)

Opening all those gifts was tiring.
