Back to Blogging! Decorating with a 16 month old!

So it's time for me to stop making excuses and get back to blogging!  So here goes!  My plan is to update on our Christmas over the next day or two and then add in some flashbacks throughout the next two weeks.  =)  Hopefully this time I can stick to the plan!

Christmas this year was more fun with Taylor than last year.  Last year she was more of an observer.  This year she took a front row seat and was very involved.  Sometimes too involved.  So let's start with getting out the holiday decorations.

Since Chris was off the one day the week after Thanksgiving we decided to do the tree as soon as Taylor and I arrived home from work/daycare.  She was very interested in the box that the tree came out of and the tree itself.  After we got the tree set up we took out the inside decorations.  She loved helping take everything out of the bin and examine it for us.  We left our tree with only the lights for a little while to see how it fared.  As it got closer to Christmas and the initial excitement of the tree wore off we added the ornaments (more on that later)
