Christmas Morning was lots of fun this year. Taylor got up around 6 and we hung out upstairs in our bed while she had her 1st breakfast (milk) and Daddy brought down all the gifts. We couldn't put them out early because the cats would get into them. I was able to get a cute video of her first coming down the stairs. She was too funny! =) As soon as I can finish editing it I'll post it later today!
We opened gifts together as a family and then played all morning before Taylor took her nap around 11 am. She slept until almost 11 when Nana, Poppy and Uncle Aaron arrived for the second round of Christmas gifts. We are looking forward to doing our video chat Christmas with Grandma, Grandpa, and Auntie Kim after they get our gifts and we get theirs. Chris' mom fell ill just prior to the holidays and we were sad she wasn't able to visit us for Christmas as originally planned.

It's easier to open gifts if you sit on them.

OH MY GOSH! That chair is so cute! And I love the little white table & chairs set! ADORABLE!!! Awww you guys had such a nice day, and I am LOVING seeing all of the pictures :) Maybe when we see you Karina can find the missing pegs. She finds all of Kristopher's missing pieces to things. That tunnel is really awesome!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Thanks Kelly! The chair was from Pottery Barn Kids. It was the big splurge gift since the one I was going to get on clearance was no longer available by the time I ordered it. The table and chairs are from IKEA. I think they are called the Kritter and for all three pieces it was like $30. They are VERY sturdy. Nana and Poppy aka Santa got them for her. =)
ReplyDeleteWOW! i love them both! wow! next time i go to ikea, it is ON! we had a mickey table for kris when he was 1, but it was crazy colors, and i had it hidden in the office ;)
